Bruce C. Wilson, MD, a board certified cardiologist and  Medical Director for HeartMath, founded HeartMatters.MD in 2007 to deliver seminars and keynote addresses on the physiology of stress and use of the HeartMath tools to reduce it.  Dr. Wilson’s prior positions have been Director of Acute Cardiac Care at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, Director of the University of Pittsburgh Heart Institute, Chairman of Cardiology and Continuing Medical Education at Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, among others.  He serves on a number of advisory and editorial boards, and is on the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin.  His particular interest in stress and cardiac disease has developed over the more than 10 years he has been working with HeartMath.  He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally.  He is the co-author of The HeartMath Approach to Managing Hypertension (New Harbinger, 2007).
